Spain: Nazca Capital has acquired a majority stake in the newly integrated group of Coycama and Becrisa, along with two other companies, through its Nazca Small Cap II fund. Both Coycama and Becrisa operate in the bathroom sector across various segments, including furniture, washbasins, shower trays, enclosures, and sanitary ware. The integration aims to create a leading presence in the Spanish bathroom industry. Coycama and Becrisa maintain five production facilities and a combined international footprint, exporting approximately 30 percent of their products to over 20 countries. The new group reports annual sales exceeding EUR 40 million and an EBITDA of over EUR 5 million. The current partners, with over three decades of industry experience, will continue in their roles as shareholders and managers, with the team being strengthened through new appointments.
Nazca Capital, which previously invested in McBath, plans to drive the group's growth through expanding production capacities, including a new factory in Vinaroz and enhancements to the Ulldecona and Onda facilities. The strategy also includes boosting international commercial activities and evaluating opportunities for further acquisitions in related sectors. This transaction marks the second investment by the Nazca Small Cap II fund, which is currently concluding its fundraising efforts with a target of EUR 220 million.
