Malaysia: Myra, the residential division of Oriental Interest Bhd, has introduced Myra Senja, a mixed-use project in Shah Alam, alongside signing a memorandum of understanding with Panasonic Malaysia. Under the partnership, Panasonic will supply energy-efficient appliances for the project’s open-market residential units, including inverter air-conditioners, electric water heaters and induction hobs. Larger units will also receive a washer-dryer and refrigerator for a limited introductory period. Myra stated that the intention is to provide essential household equipment while allowing residents flexibility in designing their homes.
Myra Senja comprises three 20-storey residential towers and a retail area, with an estimated gross development value of RM400 million (approximately USD 85 million; EUR 79 million). The project includes both affordable housing and open-market units, with the latter offering layouts of up to four bedrooms. Completion is scheduled for 2029. Facilities will include landscaped areas, sports amenities and communal spaces, with the development located near established neighbourhoods and major road access in Subang 2, Shah Alam.
