Mitsubishi Electric Reorganizes North America Business to Strengthen Automation and Services

USA: Mitsubishi Electric Corporation announced that, effective July 1, it will reorganize its North American operations across three group companies. Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. will oversee all regional operations while also managing sales of elevators and escalators, cooling and heating solutions, and semiconductor devices. Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. will continue to manage the sales and servicing of factory automation (FA) equipment and computer numerical control (CNC) systems across North America, while Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America, Inc. will focus on the manufacturing and sale of automotive equipment in the region.

As part of the restructuring, Mitsubishi Electric US will integrate Mitsubishi Electric Automation’s FA and CNC sales and service operations to improve data utilization and enable cross-business solutions. This integration is expected to strengthen service capabilities and support the expansion of the company’s FA systems business in North America. This restructuring aligns with Mitsubishi Electric’s broader global strategy to enhance corporate value. The company aims to strengthen its position as an “Innovative Company” by embracing calculated risks, fostering new value creation and business development, responding to evolving market needs, and contributing positively to society and the environment.
