Australia: Midea has opened a dedicated heating, ventilation and air conditioning showroom and experience centre in Melbourne, Australia. The facility presents systems from Midea Building Technologies, which focuses on commercial and trade HVAC equipment, together with residential air conditioning products from the company’s consumer portfolio. The centre will serve as a location for product demonstrations, training activities and engagement with contractors, developers, consultants and consumers. The showroom opened on 6 March and forms part of the company’s plans to expand its presence in the residential and commercial climate control market in Australia.
The facility displays a range of HVAC technologies, including light-commercial mini-VRF systems, multi-unit HVAC systems, R290 heat pumps, water heating systems and centrifugal chillers. Residential systems on display include split units, multi-split systems, portable units and ducted and cassette installations for homes and smaller commercial buildings. The centre is intended to provide a demonstration environment where industry professionals and homeowners can observe system operation and evaluate solutions suited to different building applications and climate conditions across Australia.
