LIXIL Announces Senior Executive Appointments to Drive Growth and Transformation

JAPAN: LIXIL Corporation, a leading provider of water and housing products, has announced new senior leadership appointments, effective April 1, 2025. Additionally, the company has unveiled its proposed slate of candidates for election to the Board of Directors at the Annual General Shareholders Meeting (AGM), scheduled for June 2025.

LIXIL’s Nomination Committee has recommended re-electing nine of the ten current Directors while nominating Mr. Hiroshi Ishino as a new Board member. Outside Director Daisuke Hamaguchi will retire, concluding six years of service since joining in 2019. During his tenure, Hamaguchi significantly contributed to strengthening the Board’s effectiveness, serving as Chairman of the Compensation and Audit Committees and as a member of the Governance Committee.

In addition, LIXIL's Board of Directors has decided to retain seven of its eight current Executive Officers, with the exception of Shoko Kimijima, who will step down. CEO Kinya Seto and Chief People Officer Jin Montesano will continue as Representative Executive Officers. Furthermore, Hanseul Kim, currently Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer, has been appointed Executive Officer responsible for Corporate Transformation and M&A, effective April 1.
