LIXIL and American Bath Group Announce Strategic Partnership in North America

USA: LIXIL Americas and American Bath Group (ABG) have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at expanding their presence in the North American bathing products sector. As part of the agreement, LIXIL will license ABG the exclusive rights to manufacture and distribute bathing products under its American Standard, DXV, and Eljer brands. The collaboration intends to utilise both companies’ strengths and enhance growth through cross-selling opportunities. 

In addition to the licensing agreement, ABG will acquire LIXIL’s manufacturing facility in Salem, Ohio, as well as selected manufacturing assets from Monterrey, Mexico and Mansfield, Ohio. The agreement enables ABG to strengthen its position in the North American bathing category while maintaining the product legacy of the American Standard, DXV, and Eljer brands. Both companies have stated their commitment to ensuring a smooth transition for all employees, customers, and business partners.
