LG expands B2G activities through partnership with Expo City Dubai

UAE: LG Electronics is advancing its qualitative growth strategy in the Middle East by increasing its focus on business-to-government projects. On 19 November, the company signed a strategic partnership with Expo City Dubai to collaborate on the development of a next-generation smart city. The agreement follows earlier discussions at the Korea–UAE Business Roundtable, where both governments expressed interest in expanding cooperation in AI-based services and infrastructure. LG has an existing relationship with Expo City Dubai, having supplied LED signage for Expo 2020 and committed to providing built-in home appliances for 3,000 planned residential units.

Under the partnership, LG will contribute to the project as a provider of space-optimised solutions, supporting areas such as AI data centre cooling and smart home systems using its AI Home Hub platform. The collaboration is part of the company’s broader aim to strengthen its position as a solutions provider across consumer, commercial and government sectors in the Middle East.
