LG Electronics Launches California Training Academy for Next-Gen HVAC Innovation

USA: Global HVAC technology leader LG Electronics marked the grand opening of its new LG Air Conditioning Technologies Training Academy in Orange. The ribbon-cutting ceremony coincided with the conclusion of California Heat Pump Week, highlighting LG’s commitment to advancing energy-efficient HVAC solutions. Attendees at the launch were given an early preview of LG’s 2026 high-efficiency HVAC lineup, including water heating and control solutions designed to improve comfort, reduce noise, and optimize energy performance under suitable operating conditions.

The Orange Training Academy further strengthens LG’s U.S. network of six specialized training centers aimed at building a skilled HVAC workforce. It joins existing facilities in Alpharetta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, and Englewood Cliffs. These academies offer hands-on training led by experienced instructors, covering unitary, ductless, VRF, and control systems, with courses spanning installation through servicing across LG’s full portfolio of air conditioning and water heating solutions.
