LG Aims to Establish Itself as a Top Global HVAC Solutions Leader

South Korea: At a press conference on July 8 at LG Science park in South Korea, LG Electronics (LG) unveiled its strategic roadmap to transform its ES Company into a leading global provider of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions by 2030. To realize this ambition, LG plans to accelerate growth by expanding its industrial and commercial B2B revenue streams, including AI data centre cooling, and by offering region-specific heating and cooling solutions. In alignment with its “3B strategy” (Build, Borrow, Buy), the company intends to pursue a series of acquisitions to strengthen its core capabilities and diversify its business portfolio. By enhancing its competitiveness across both high-efficiency HVAC hardware and non-hardware solutions, LG aims to achieve KRW 20 trillion (US$ 14.6 billion) in HVAC revenue by 2030 as part of its mid- to long-term growth strategy.
