Johnson Controls to offer Cooling As A Service (CaaS)
The capital-free cooling concept, which covers the complete cooling lifespan from equipment upgrade to continuous operation, service, and maintenance, will be fully handled by Johnson Controls.
According to Mohammad Khalid, vice president and general manager for the Middle East and Africa region at Johnson Controls, "with record temperatures in the region and across many parts of the globe, the launch of CaaS marks a pivotal moment - allowing businesses to quickly transform their buildings into more efficient and sustainable assets while spreading the cost of capital." Customer-specific consulting, design, equipment installation, digital connectivity, and a full suite of adaptable and scalable services are all included in Johnson Controls' CaaS, which gives customers a comprehensive cooling solution.According to reports, it may be adjusted to a variety of corporate sectors, including property management, residential, commercial offices, retail, hotel, and more. It is stated to be appropriate for both new and existing facilities. Customers who employ a pay-per-use approach only pay for the cooling they actually need and have complete transparency over usage, performance, and efficiency.Johnson Controls asserts that CaaS can digitally change buildings and further improve energy efficiency and utilisation when combined with its OpenBlue platform and its cloud, edge, and AI technologies.Devrim Tekeli, general manager of Service for Gulf Cooperation Council countries at Johnson Controls, continued, "Traditional cooling systems frequently involve significant maintenance costs and the perpetual race to keep pace with evolving technologies." "CaaS removes the barriers of upfront costs and complicated maintenance requirements, increasing the availability and affordability of sustainable building technology for businesses."
