Jintao Sanitary Ware Ghana Commences Operations in Takoradi
Ghana/Africa: Jintao Sanitary Ware Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of the China-based Hwani Group, has officially began operations in Takoradi, Ghana. The ultramodern factory is expected to reduce the cost of sanitary wares in the country, offering high-quality products at competitive prices while creating jobs for the local population. Over 90% of the company's staff are Ghanaians, demonstrating its commitment to local employment and entrepreneurship.
Ophelia Zhang, Marketing Director of Jintao Sanitary Ware Co. Ltd., stated that the factory has a capacity to produce over a million products daily, with 30% sold in the Ghanaian market and 70% exported, further boosting Ghana's foreign exchange earnings. The factory is part of Ghana's free zones enclave, aligning with President Akufo-Addo's vision to industrialize the country and encourage foreign investment.
Charles Bissue, NPP’s Parliamentary Candidate for Essikado-Ketan, praised the factory for creating jobs and contributing to the economy. Jintao Sanitary Ware Co. Ltd plans to establish six more factories in Africa within the next two years.
