In March, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme Saw a 46% Rise

UK: According to the most recent data on the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), there has been a significant increase in applications, particularly for incentives intended for the installation of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs). A total of 37,879 voucher applications were received by the end of March 2024, with the majority of those applications (96%) being for ASHP installations.

In March 2024, there was a notable 46% increase in the overall number of applications compared to March 2023, despite a minor reduction from the previous month. Furthermore, there was a little increase in the quantity of vouchers distributed in March 2024 compared to the same month the previous year—a 32% increase.
