IAPMO Expands Global Compliance Services with In Compliance Acquisition

Germany: The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) has expanded its international product compliance capabilities through the acquisition of Germany-based consulting firm In Compliance. The company specialises in regulatory requirements for plumbing products and systems, particularly those used in drinking water applications. The acquisition strengthens IAPMO's ability to support manufacturers in meeting product standards, certification requirements and market entry regulations across multiple international markets, where compliance requirements continue to evolve alongside stricter drinking water regulations.
The acquisition also formalises IAPMO's consulting services by integrating In Compliance's expertise with its existing standards development, testing and certification activities. IAPMO stated that appropriate separation will be maintained between consulting and certification services. The combined organisation aims to provide manufacturers with broader support in navigating international product approval processes and regulatory requirements while expanding growth opportunities for both organisations.
