Hyundai L&C Strengthens Premium Building Materials Portfolio Through European Partnerships

South Korea: Hyundai L&C, the comprehensive building materials company under the Hyundai Department Store Group, is strengthening its presence in the high-end market by signing exclusive domestic distribution agreements with Italian hardwood flooring manufacturer Florian and German bathroom fixtures maker KEUCO. Florian, which has more than 50 years of experience in hardwood processing, is known for its Prime AB grade oak flooring produced entirely in Italy, while KEUCO’s luxury faucets are installed in global five-star hotels and resorts, including the Marriott in India, Anantara Resort in the Maldives and the Peninsula in Hong Kong. By adding Florian hardwood flooring and KEUCO faucets to its existing premium window brand REHAU and engineered stone Khanstone, Hyundai L&C has created a premium building materials package and plans to target redevelopment complexes in the Seoul metropolitan area and the high-end options market for new housing sales. The company said the integrated package will provide builders and developers with a turnkey solution and single-channel after-sales management, responding to growing demand for premium windows, imported hardwood flooring and high-end faucets amid the rising trend of luxury residential developments in South Korea.
