Hornbach to Open Third Bodenhaus Store in German

Germany: Hornbach is preparing to open a new store under its Bodenhaus retail format, which focuses on floor coverings including tiles, parquet and laminate. The outlet, located in Wiesbaden, is scheduled to open in November following the conversion of a former Hornbach store with a sales area of nearly 4,000 m². This will be the third Bodenhaus store in Germany.
The Bodenhaus concept, designed for both professional customers and DIY enthusiasts, was first introduced in Berlin in 2020. Hornbach later expanded the model internationally, launching a similar format in the Netherlands in 2021 under the name Vloeren.
