Hisense Plans Investment in Pakistan Through Partnership with Air Link Subsidiary

PAKISTAN: China’s consumer electronics major Hisense is planning to invest in Pakistan through a strategic partnership with Air Link Communication Limited’s wholly owned subsidiary, Select Technologies Limited. “As part of this partnership, HISENSE has expressed its intention to make a direct investment in the venture in the near future,” Air Link disclosed in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange. The collaboration will focus on the local manufacturing and distribution of home appliances, including Smart TVs and Air Conditioners. “Select Technologies Limited…has entered into a strategic partnership with HISENSE…for the manufacturing and distribution of home appliances in Pakistan,” the notice stated. Combining Hisense’s technology with Air Link’s manufacturing and distribution network, the partnership aims to expand access to premium appliances, support local production, and create employment opportunities.
