Hisense Partners with EPACK Durable to Establish AC Manufacturing Unit in India
India: Chinese consumer electronics giant Hisense has partnered with EPACK Durable to establish a manufacturing facility in India, producing air conditioners and appliances for both domestic and export markets. This collaboration boosted EPACK Durable’s share price by 5% in early trading.
EPACK Durable, a key player in India’s room air conditioner manufacturing sector, will manufacture essential RAC components, small appliances, and select washing machine models for Hisense. Through this partnership, Hisense aims to introduce its latest home appliances to the Indian market and aspires to be among the top five air conditioner and appliance brands in India within the next five years. EPACK seeks to benefit from Hisense's technological expertise and premium design capabilities.
