Himacs Sinks and Basins Gain SCS Certification

SPAIN: The full range of Himacs basins and sinks, designed and produced by Lx Hausys, has obtained SCS certification, confirming the inclusion of pre-consumer recycled content in the products. The silica-free solid surface material is non-porous, thermoformable, repairable, and designed for seamless integration, making it applicable in kitchens, bathrooms, hospitality, and healthcare environments. The sinks and basins are manufactured to blend with surrounding surfaces, resulting in a uniform and easy-to-maintain finish. 

Beyond the sink and basin range, thermoformable sheets are also available, enabling customised designs and curved components in a variety of colours, including options with recycled content. Himacs materials are designed to be repairable and reusable, supporting longer lifespans in architectural and interior applications. Their non-porous, silica-free composition and absence of volatile organic compound emissions make them suitable for hygiene-sensitive settings by reducing areas where dirt, mould, or bacteria could accumulate.
