Canada: Health Canada has issued a recall for three brands of heat pumps, with approximately 5,549 units sold in the country. The recall notice indicates that the affected products may continue to provide heat even when set to cooling mode, posing a risk of excessive heat.

The recall affects Daikin, Amana, and Goodman brand heat pumps sold between May 2022 and April 2024.
