Havells, the owner of the appliances brand Lloyd, is poised to broaden its footprint in international markets for residential air-conditioners. Following a substantial increase in production capacity, the company is eyeing an expansion of its export reach. With an investment of approximately $5.2 million in the initial phase of its new manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. Havells has successfully doubled its production capacity to over 2 million units annually. Currently, Havells exports room air conditioners to a diverse range of 30 countries, including neighboring SAARC and African nations. Moreover, the company has recently initiated shipments to the US market and is now aiming to extend its reach beyond.
