Hansgrohe Reports 1.3 Percent Decline in Annual Sales for 2024

Germany: Germany-based Hansgrohe Group reported sales of EUR 1.387 billion (USD 1.49 billion) for 2024, a 1.3 percent decrease from EUR 1.406 billion (USD 1.51 billion) in 2023. EBITDA remained steady at EUR 256.6 million (USD 276 million). The company cited geopolitical tensions and market stagnation in Germany and China as key challenges, impacting performance in India and Turkey. International sales, representing 76.5 percent of total revenue, declined by 1.5 percent, though rose 0.3 percent excluding currency effects. The German market generated EUR 326.6 million (USD 351.3 million), down 1 percent, while the French subsidiary saw a 5 percent drop.
Hansgrohe invested EUR 55.5 million (USD 59.7 million) in 2024, down from EUR 81.6 million (USD 87.8 million) the previous year. Key investments included a new plant in Serbia and product development, particularly in showers. The company continues its "local for local" supply chain strategy and introduced new bathroom products, including a tap-integrated synthetic countertop basin and a multifunctional shower jet system.
