Industrial Park at Morbi, India

India: Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) has launched a new Integrated Ceramic Industrial Park at Jambudiya-Paneli in the Morbi-Rajkot region of India, spanning over 1,000 acres. The project is designed to transform the area into a world-class industrial zone for the tile and ceramic sector, enhancing the industry’s presence across the value chain with focus areas including tiles, sanitaryware and advanced ceramics. The park leverages its proximity to the established Morbi ceramic cluster and strong logistics links via National Highway 27, Hirasar International Airport and nearby ports to support manufacturers and attract investment into high-value segments.

The development includes key infrastructure and facilities to support industry and workforce needs, such as a Common Display Centre, a Centre of Excellence with an NABL-certified laboratory, and a Skill Development Centre. The park is positioned as a model for industrial growth and skill enhancement, leveraging the region’s talent pool and infrastructure to boost national manufacturing capabilities.
