General Inc. Appoints Takeshi Ebisu as CEO Following Leadership Restructuring

Japan: Takeshi Ebisu has been appointed representative director and CEO of General Inc, following approval at the company shareholders meeting. The move is part of a broader leadership restructuring after the transition of Fujitsu General into Paloma Rheem Holdings in August 2025 and its subsequent rebranding to General earlier this year. Ebisu brings prior experience from Daikin Industries, including leadership roles at its subsidiary Goodman Manufacturing.
Alongside this appointment, Koji Masuda has been named chairman of the board, while Susumu Ohkawara has taken the role of director and executive vice president. The company has also reduced the number of directors and executive officers to create a leaner management structure, aiming to improve decision making speed and support business growth in domestic and international markets.
