Switzerland: The Geberit Group achieved solid performance in 2025, reporting currency-adjusted net sales growth of 4.8%, significantly strong sales growth above overall market development, despite a challenging environment. In Swiss francs, net sales increased by 2.5% to CHF 3,163 million (USD 3,480 million), with negative currency effects amounting to CHF 72 million (USD 79 million). Growth was driven by strong volumes supported by newly launched products and expansion across most European markets. In the fourth quarter of 2025, net sales reached CHF 715 million (USD 787 million), up 4.4% year on year in Swiss francs and 6.4% on a currency-adjusted basis, following steady growth throughout the earlier quarters of the year. Management expects the full-year EBITDA margin to be slightly below 29.5%, with the full financial statements and annual report scheduled for release on 12 March 2026.

By region, currency-adjusted net sales in Europe increased 4.1% in 2025, with strong growth in Austria (+8.5%), Benelux (+7.3%), Germany (+5.6%), Eastern Europe (+4.3%) and Northern Europe (+3.5%), alongside gains in Italy, Switzerland and Western Europe. Outside Europe, sales rose sharply in the Middle East/Africa (+24.8%) and increased in America (+3.9%), while sales in the Far East/Pacific declined by 0.6%, reflecting continued weakness in China despite strong growth in India. By product area, currency-adjusted sales increased by 6.1% in Bathroom Systems, 5.5% in Installation and Flushing Systems, and 3.0% in Piping Systems. Looking ahead to 2026, Geberit expects slight overall market growth in Europe, supported mainly by renovation activity, while demand is forecast to remain strong in markets such as India and the Gulf region but weak in China, with the Group aiming to further strengthen its market position through new products, digitalisation, marketing initiatives and expanded logistics capacity.
