Fujitsu General to Change Trade Name to GENERAL Inc. from January 2026

JAPAN: Fujitsu General has announced that, effective January 1, 2026, it will change its trade name to GENERAL Inc. and introduce a new brand symbol, “GENERAL.” The “General” trademark, in use since 1946 and registered in over 120 countries and regions, reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to sincere manufacturing and the trust it has earned from customers worldwide.
Marking its 90th anniversary in 2026, the company will adopt “General” as its official trade name, opening a new chapter in its history. Through collaboration with Paloma Rheem HD Group across the value chain, the company plans to expand its domestic and international business, strengthen its global air conditioning market position, and integrate air conditioning and water heating technologies. The new “GENERAL” brand symbol will be gradually introduced, starting with products released from January 2026 onward.
