France: Following a period of disagreement, the Lamoure and Radat families, each holding 49.9% of the Group Atlantic, have agreed to hand over control of the industrial HVAC company, which employs 12,000 people and has a turnover of USD 3.1 billion (€2.8 billion). Challenge magazine reports that international firms including American Rheem, German Bosch, and Swedish Nibe have already approached the sale agents, although the valuation of USD 3.9 billion (€3.5 billion) is considered too low. This interest from industrial players contrasts with late 2024 reports from Les Echos, when only the Lamoure family’s shares were on the table, with the Radat family opposing due to what they deemed “too restrictive” conditions.
