France HVAC Equipment Sales Remain Weak in 2025

France: Sales of thermal and HVAC equipment in 2025 remained low, according to figures released by industry association Uniclima, marking a second consecutive year of subdued demand. Total unit sales for key technologies such as individual gas and oil boilers, heat pumps and solar water heaters declined compared with 2024, although some segments showed marginal improvements. The cumulative market for boilers and heat pump systems remained significantly below levels seen in 2021.
Uniclima noted that while most product categories experienced declines, air to water heat pump sales showed signs of stabilising with only a slight decrease in volumes. The data reflects ongoing market challenges amid economic uncertainty and changes in renovation incentive structures, contributing to continued pressure on manufacturers in the French HVAC sector.
