Electrolux Names Former Haier Executive as New CEO

Sweden: Electrolux, the global appliance company, has appointed Yannick Fierling as its new CEO following the decision of current CEO Jonas Samuelson to step down. Fierling, who previously led Haier Europe, resigned from Haier the same month Samuelson announced his departure from Electrolux. Having joined Haier in 2015, Fierling successfully led the company for nine years, during which time Haier gained market share from several European appliance manufacturers. Fierling will begin his role at Electrolux Group on October 1 and will officially assume the position of President and CEO on January 1, 2025.
