DPIIT and Blue Star Partner to Support HVAC and Manufacturing Startups

INDIA: The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Blue Star to strengthen India’s manufacturing and innovation ecosystem by supporting startups in HVAC and related sectors. The collaboration focuses on enabling startups to develop scalable solutions across areas such as cooling technologies, digital systems, advanced manufacturing, and supply chain innovation.
Under the partnership, startups will gain access to mentorship from industry experts, as well as research infrastructure, testing facilities, and pilot opportunities to validate and refine their products. The initiative also facilitates market linkages and supports key stages such as proof-of-concept development and integration into industry value chains.
Additionally, both organisations plan to organise innovation challenges and hackathons, aimed at aligning startup solutions with real-world industry requirements and accelerating commercial readiness.
