Dornbracht Appoints Olaf Hoppe as Managing Director to Drive Luxury Market Strategy
Dornbracht has appointed Olaf Hoppe as managing director, effective 14 September 2026. The 59-year-old executive joins the Iserlohn-based fittings manufacturer after serving as CEO of SieMatic, where he oversaw the company’s transformation.
Hoppe will assume overall management responsibilities following the departure of CSMO Caroline Schmitt and CFO Natalia Castellucci de Kolb. His appointment comes as Dornbracht continues to implement a strategy aimed at strengthening its position in the luxury segment.
Over the past two years, the company has focused on reinforcing its brand around iconic design, distinctive water experiences, customised solutions and product quality. Its marketing and sales structures have also been reorganised to strengthen its international presence, pursue growth opportunities in global markets and improve market performance.
Dornbracht stated that its strategic repositioning and operational professionalisation have strengthened its foundations for future growth despite challenging economic conditions.
