INDIA: Danfoss India has announced plans to invest approximately US$ 158.35 million (₹1,500 million) over the next five years to strengthen its presence in energy-efficient technologies. The investment will focus on expanding production capacity for compressors and battery energy storage systems, while capitalising on the rising demand for data centre cooling solutions. The company also aims to scale up localisation levels to around 80% and enhance manufacturing capabilities at its Bengaluru facility. Additionally, Danfoss is increasing its focus on sustainable solutions such as heat pumps, aligning with growing demand for energy-efficient heating and cooling. However, potential supply chain disruptions and rising freight costs due to geopolitical tensions remain key risks to its growth outlook.
