Daikin Partners with APITU to Boost HVAC technician skills in Indonesia

Indonesia: PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia (DID) has partnered with the Indonesian Association of Cooling and Air Conditioning Practitioners (APITU) to strengthen the skills and expertise of HVAC technicians across the country. The collaboration was highlighted during the APITU Berbagi XIII event at ROBINSON Resort Cisarua, Bogor, on August 13, emphasizing the crucial role of technicians in meeting the growing demands and challenges of Indonesia’s air conditioning industry. Technicians were recognized as a vital link in the HVAC business chain due to their direct interaction with end users and the need for specialized skills in installation and maintenance, which significantly affect customer satisfaction.
During the event, Daikin also introduced the Nusantara Prestige series, its first residential AC line produced in Indonesia at the company’s full-scale residential AC factory. The series, available in three models designed specifically for Indonesian households, marks a significant milestone in Daikin’s local production journey and reflects its commitment to addressing the evolving needs of the domestic market.
