IRELAND: Daikin Ireland, a leading global manufacturer of heat pumps and HVAC solutions, has expanded its operations with the opening of a new office in Cork. This move reflects Munster’s growing significance, now contributing approximately 40% to Daikin’s overall growth in Ireland. The new Cork location will serve commercial, industrial, and residential clients across the region.
Situated in Eastgate Business Park, Little Island, the facility offers a comprehensive range of services including system design, sales, and after-sales support for residential heating, commercial air conditioning, and industrial processes. The office aims to strengthen Daikin’s presence in Munster and better support local sectors such as hospitality, commercial offices, and notably, pharmaceutical companies.
Initially staffed by 12 people, the new office is expected to generate up to 10 additional jobs over the next two years. It also features a training centre where heating and plumbing professionals can upskill on Daikin’s latest technologies and product innovations.
Well known for its energy-efficient and environmentally conscious HVAC solutions, Daikin continues to play a key role in Ireland’s transition to renewable energy across residential, commercial, and industrial markets. Over the past eight years, Daikin Ireland has recorded growth across all major sectors, including residential housing, commercial spaces, pharmaceuticals, and data centres.
