SCOTLAND: Daikin has acquired Saltire Facilities Management Ltd., a Glasgow-based heating services provider, to strengthen its residential heat pump service infrastructure in the UK, especially in Scotland—an emerging high-growth market for sustainable heating. Executed through Daikin Airconditioning UK Ltd., the acquisition follows its earlier purchase of Robert Heath Heating in January 2024. Together, these moves support Daikin’s national expansion and the UK's regulatory push for clean heating, with Scotland alone expected to need 70,000 heat pumps by 2028.
