USA: Dallas-based CSW Industrials has announced plans to acquire Texas-based Aspen Manufacturing for USD 313.5 million in cash, expanding its product portfolio in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) market. Aspen, a leading independent manufacturer of evaporator coils and air handlers, generated USD 122.4 million in revenue last year. The acquisition, expected to close by the end of June, will allow Aspen to leverage CSW’s scale for market growth while maintaining its U.S.-based manufacturing.

The deal marks CSW’s largest acquisition in the past year, following the purchases of PF Waterworks for USD 40 million, PSP Products for USD 40 million, and Dust Free for nearly USD 30 million. CSW, which has spent over USD 1 billion on acquisitions since 2015, has seen an 11% revenue increase to USD 193.6 million for the quarter ending Dec. 31, 2024, with net income nearly tripling to USD 26.9 million. Its contractor solutions division, housing HVAC/R and plumbing products, accounted for nearly 70% of total revenue.
