Copeland to Invest US$60 Million in Maharashtra for Manufacturing and Global R&D Expansion

India: Copeland, a global leader in sustainable climate solutions, has announced a ₹500 crore (US$60 million) investment in India to expand its manufacturing capacity and accelerate climate innovation. This investment includes the expansion of its manufacturing facility in Atit, Maharashtra, and the establishment of a new 15,000 square meter global R&D center in Pune. The investment will enhance production capacity, particularly of the company's award-winning scroll compressors, supporting domestic and international markets. Sandeep Gupta, VP & MD of Copeland India, highlighted that these investments will support India's 'Make in India' initiative and position the country as a leading hub for scroll compressor manufacturing and innovation.
