Concilio Group Acquires Line Art, Plans Brand Revitalization

France: Line Art, the French manufacturer specializing in solid wood bathroom furniture, has sold a majority stake to the Concilio group, a French company focused on furniture, bathtubs, shower cubicles, and screens. This decision comes after several difficult years marked by a fire in 2019 that destroyed its assembly workshop and stock, followed by the COVID-19 crisis, inflation, and the challenging economic climate. 

Line Art will maintain its independence within the Concilio group but will benefit from shared support services such as marketing, IT, and accounting. Concilio plans to revitalize Line Art by renewing product ranges and adjusting price positions while preserving the high-quality standards the brand is known for. 

The brand's commercial management will now be led by Pascal Spill, the sales director of Concilio, supported by a dedicated sales force. Co-founder Tanguy Lepoutre will oversee the transition until the end of the year before leaving the company, while co-founder Ludovic Meurin will continue to manage the Line Art structure.
