Climaveneta to Open New USD 48M Facility in India for Industrial Chillers
India: Climaveneta Climate Technologies (CCT), part of Japan’s Mitsubishi Electric, is investing INR 400 crore (approximately USD 48 million) in a new manufacturing facility for industrial chillers in Narsapura, Karnataka. The plant will produce a range of central air-conditioning equipment, including screw chillers, magnetic levitation technology chillers, scroll chillers, centrifugal chillers, high-precision AC units, and heat pumps.
CCT currently has over INR 500 crore (approximately USD 60 million) in order bookings, and the new plant is expected to enable the company to double its annual orders over the next five years. Additionally, CCT plans to expand its workforce from the current 300 employees as part of its growth strategy.
