Italy: Clerici Expands National Presence after announcing the completion of two acquisitions aimed at expanding its operations in key regions of Italy. The company has acquired the business unit of Acquaprogetti Srl, which operates in the Veneto region with locations in Rovigo and Sant’Elena. Simultaneously, Clerici has finalised its acquisition of Galli Innocenti & C. Srl, a company based in Rome, marking its entry into the Lazio region. These moves are part of Clerici’s broader strategy to enhance its national presence by focusing on areas with strong economic activity and infrastructure development.
Acquaprogetti, active since 2014 in plumbing and bathroom furniture distribution, adds to Clerici’s existing footprint in northeastern Italy, where the company has grown to 35 stores through a series of targeted acquisitions since 2021. These include Idra, acquired in February 2025 with 13 stores and an annual turnover exceeding EUR 30 million (USD 32.4 million), and Catto, based in Jesolo. In the northeast, Clerici also operates under brands such as Unicom, Idras, AFIS, HydrossTico, TFR Clima, and Scarpis. The acquisition of Galli Innocenti, founded in 1973, gives Clerici a base in Rome with three operational sites and expands its reach in plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and bathroom furnishing segments.
