Ceremony Marks Inauguration of Al-Asasyah Advanced Industry HVAC Smart Factory in Dammam

Saudi Arabia: Amidst the industrial advancements observed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aligned with the goals of Vision 2030 to bolster local content, industrial localization, and promote knowledge transfer, Basic Electronics Co., Ltd. commenced the construction of the Advanced Basic Company for Industry's factory.

This facility is dedicated to manufacturing sustainable and eco-friendly air conditioning units thereby contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions. The ceremony was attended by Ms. Dong Meng Zhu, Chairperson and CEO of Gree Electric Appliances Inc., held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Spanning across an area exceeding 70,000 square meters for its initial phase, the project anticipates generating employment for over 2,000 individuals.
