Beijer Ref Buys Majority Stake in Hungarian HVAC Distributor Cool4U

Sweden/Hungary: Beijer Ref has entered into an agreement to purchase 80% of the shares in Cool4U, a prominent HVAC distributor based in Hungary, specializing in solutions for residential and commercial projects. The company, founded in 2001 and headquartered in Szarvas, boasts an annual turnover of approximately SEK 500 million (USD 48 million) with strong profitability.

Cool4U offers a wide range of HVAC products and services and is known for its experienced team dedicated to delivering high quality and customer satisfaction. Following the acquisition, Cool4U will maintain its brand identity and continue operations in distribution and marketing.

The transaction, although binding, is subject to approval from the competition authority in Hungary and will undergo Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) screening before closing. Beijer Ref anticipates a modest positive impact on its overall results from the acquisition.
