Slovenia: Bauhaus has opened its fourth store in Slovenia, located in the seaport city of Koper, approximately ten months after construction began. The new outlet offers DIY, renovation, and decoration products across a sales area of around 15,800 square metres. It includes the largest "Stadtgarten" garden section in the Adriatic region, covering over 4,800 square metres and offering a range of plants, tools, and garden accessories. The outdoor living section features products such as gazebos, outdoor kitchens, barbecues, lighting, and furniture. The store also highlights its tile department, which presents a selection of over 350 tile alternatives.
Customers can access the store through a 250-square-metre car park equipped with ten electric vehicle charging stations or use a 2,800-square-metre drive-in arena to load products directly. The location also offers a "Reserve & Collect" service, allowing customers to reserve items online for later collection. To support sustainable operations, the Koper store is fitted with a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 1 MW, and all equipment used for moving goods, such as forklifts, is powered by electricity.
