Bahrain Launches Second Phase of Residential Project in Madinat Salman

Bahrain: Bahrain’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning has launched the second phase of its Advanced Generation Residential Buildings Project in Madinat Salman, which will deliver 432 new apartments for citizens following the successful completion of Phase I comprising 1,382 units, reported BNA. Minister Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi said the initiative aligns with the Government Programme (2023–2026) under the guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to expand housing options and accelerate delivery. She noted that Phase II integrates sustainability features such as energy- and water-efficient systems, eco-friendly materials, and modern Bahraini architectural designs, with 72% of foundations already completed using advanced construction technologies. The project remains on schedule, featuring added amenities like commercial services, parking, and green spaces.
