Ariston Opens USD 20 Million Water Heater Plant in Egypt

Egypt: Ariston Group has inaugurated a new water heater factory in 6th of October City, Egypt, with an investment of USD 20 million (EUR 18.4 million). The plant, which will produce electric and gas water heaters, is expected to create over 350 direct jobs and initially deliver between 400,000 and 500,000 units annually. A second phase of expansion is scheduled to begin by late 2026 or early 2027, with operations starting 18–24 months later.
The company stated that while the first phase will serve domestic demand, exports to markets across the Middle East and North Africa are planned for later stages, integrating the facility into its global network spanning 70 countries. Ariston currently operates three factories in Obour City and aims to secure around 10 per cent of Egypt’s annual water heater market, estimated at 1.5 million units.
