Alfa Laval Reports First Quarter Results for 2026

Sweden: Alfa Laval AB reported its financial results for the period from 1 January to 31 March 2026, showing a mixed performance. Order intake declined by 1 percent to SEK 17.6 billion (approximately USD 1.63 billion), although it recorded an organic increase of 6 percent. Net sales decreased by 3 percent to SEK 15.9 billion (approximately USD 1.47 billion), with an organic increase of 2 percent. Adjusted EBITA remained at SEK 2.9 billion (approximately USD 0.27 billion), with the margin improving slightly to 18.1 percent. Earnings per share stood at SEK 4.59 (approximately USD 0.42), while cash flow from operating activities amounted to SEK 1.2 billion (approximately USD 0.11 billion).
For the first quarter, order intake reached SEK 17,612 million (approximately USD 1.63 billion), while net sales totalled SEK 15,919 million (approximately USD 1.47 billion). Net income for the period was SEK 1,915 million (approximately USD 0.18 billion). The company indicated a more positive outlook for the next quarter, stating: “We expect demand in the second quarter to be somewhat higher compared to the first quarter.”
