Airvance Group Acquires Majority Stake

Austria: Airvance Group Acquires Majority Stake in Austrian Heat Pump Distributor IPK as Austrian distributor IPK, which specializes in air/air and air/water heat pump systems and distributes brands including LG and Hisense, signed an agreement to sell a majority stake in its share capital to the Airvance Group, a specialist in ventilation and indoor air quality solutions for residential and tertiary buildings. Under the transaction, the founding family will retain a minority stake, while the company will continue its development under the responsibility of the management of Airvance Group’s Austrian subsidiary, in line with the group’s external growth strategy initiated in 2020. The acquisition is expected to generate significant synergies and create new business opportunities through collaboration with other regional entities within the group.

The transaction marks a key step in Airvance Group’s European expansion and diversification into the strategic heat pump segment, with IPK’s location near Vienna providing a strong and well-established base for entering the Austrian market. IPK reported revenue of approximately USD 18.4 million (EUR 17 million) in 2025 and employs 16 people, having recorded rapid growth in recent years driven by a dynamic market supported by subsidy policies for residential heat pumps.
