Netherlands: ABN AMRO is providing EUR 10 million (USD 10.8 million) in financing to Quatt, a manufacturer of smart home energy products, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to accelerating the energy transition in the Netherlands. The financing Support Smart Energy Transition solutions such as heat pumps, home batteries and energy management software, helping address grid congestion and enabling cleaner, smarter and more affordable household energy use. Quatt has expanded its integrated portfolio with hybrid and fully electric heat pumps, patented air-conditioning technology using existing radiators, energy contracts, and home batteries powered by its EnergyOS platform, creating an end-to-end ecosystem for real-time optimisation of heating, cooling and storage. The funding will increase Quatt’s working capital, allowing larger inventories, faster delivery in a growing market, and continued development of hardware and software, while supporting the company’s ambition to build a leading position in home batteries alongside its established heat pump business.
